That's over 2 1/2 hours on an RJ. Would be okay IF they at least offer some kind of sandwich or light meal service, expecially on the midday flights...
Great Lakes, great life.

It is a long time on an RJ, but it's the only nonstop service to New York (or anywhere in the Northeast) from PNS.

The O+D on this route isn't super huge and DL doesn't have a lot of feed at JFK. However, the route could work since PNS might steal some traffic from MOB/VPS which don't have nonstop service to NYC. If you add those cities in, the total catchment area is over 1 million people for PNS. That might be enough O+D to fill 100 seats to JFK...plus a little connecting traffic.

I think this new nonstop service is GREAT. (IE-It's About Time) According to an air service study released back in 2002, PNS combined with MOB/VPS arpts, The New York Metro Area (EWR, LGA), has 147.4 PDEWs. Nonstop to LGA airport would have been better (Because its closer to Manhattan), but its better then not having service at all. I doubt their will be anything to eat on these flights. Know if only Independence Air/United would announced nonstop service to IAD. Or US Airways to DCA.
