Volga-Dnepr IL76 Currently Enroute SDQ-YQX

Mon Oct 11, 2004 7:01 am

Folks,

Another one I've spotted on the screen is 'VDA304' currently running up the edge of Bermuda Triangle enroute Santo Domingo to Gander, type IL76.

Cheers,

Rob, could you tell VDA to bring that IL-76 down to Florida? thanks in advance  Big thumbs up

seriously, are you able to track any flight like delivery/ferry flights or new/rare operators with whatever you are using?

I wouldn't say 'any flight' but most airliner delivery flights I know about from having a number of insider sources dotted across the globe. Most of the time I don't hear about them until they've departed but occasionally I find out about them before they take off which is useful. I make no promises though, I have a full-time job to do as well  Big thumbs up

I'll post anything (I think is) interesting if I hear about it.

Cheers,

Well consider this your new exciting, and voluntary... part time job!  Big grin There is this L1011 supposed to depart from Texas to Africa (stopping somewhere, perhaps in florida) Any info on that would be greatly appreciated.

You're hired!

 Big thumbs up

Sevenair,

Who was that to? Miamix or myself?  Confused

I'm aware of the C5-WAL thread and I shall keep an eye peeled for it in the air. These ones that set off to Africa from the States for a new life are easily missed though and one has to be quick.

I'm afraid he was speaking to you RobK..lol Yes Sevenair, there is software that allows even a regular Joe like you and me to track (most) regular airline flights.

RobK:

You are right about that, especially when it's an airline from Gambia that nobody's heard of and it's departing from Hondo, Texas...

btw hondo is spanish for "deep"

cheers  Smile
