If you really are "el Branson Mexicano" then you should make a very splashy entrance tomorrow, like in a huge limo with three beautiful girls, or in a hot-air balloon.  Smile

José

You can also visit the Luchtvaart Hobbyshop's website...and purchase models on line!! www.lhshop.nl

Btw...if tickets were not so expensive and I wasn't so short on cash as I am now...I would really like to go to one of your "Avioncitos" meetings.

Are you out of your mind???!!!!!

I spent so much money there, that I ever since I got back from AMS I have to sell my body on weekends, in order to pay my credit card !!!

Seriously, though, it would be great to have you here (even if you're a Barca fan. Sure hope Federico is not reading...) Big grin

Jajajajajaja José Be careful of who are you selling your body to!! Just run if you find a "Chimoltrufia" jajajajajajaja.

About the Hobbyshop, I also spent more than I had to, but I really like watching those aircraft on my desk. I've found a couple of small stores in Madrid where you can buy those aircraft...at the same prices as in Amsterdam.

Hi, Pecevanne.

Of course we are open to new "members". The only requirement is they must like avioncitos (which I'm pretty sure you do!).

We'll be delighted to see you there if you can make it.

Unfortunately not all of us can join you. I wish I could be in Mexico City.

Can you share your main thoughts, ideas or conclusions on the avioncito's meeting?

Well, here's a very short summary of yesterday's avioncitos meet:

The following folks attended:

JoseMEX
Adriaticus
Rojo
ghost77
LeoDF
AM001
Fly727
Britmex (who did NOT show up in a limo with three beautiful blondes, BTW)
Ricardomexico
AM777

and someone else whose name I didn't get (sorry!). He says he reads the forums but does not post (if you're reading this this, please e-mail me, my e-mail is in my profile).

Now, of those who confirmed two didn't show up:

Anthsaun and MX330 (salud, compadre!)

Some of us took an avioncito, but Adriaticus' three-holer was definitely the biggest of them all (no wonder he's the one who started the ball rolling about everyone taking one of our avioncitos).

Some of the topics that were discussed were the construction of the new terminal at MEX, 6A getting 733's, MX and their second 767, AM going for the 73G in part due to the 738's weight restrictions at MEX, new airlines in Mexico, AM's sad experience in ORD, what a boring place Basel is, gossip about some of our fellow a.netter's Big grin, and many other things.

The next one will be in about a couple of months, and we really look forward to having all those who couldn't make it (or were too hung over to make it).

Very good Jose, it seems you all had a good time.

But what kind of "avioncitos" were present then (i.e. airline, model)? can you tell us?

Did you discuss over new airlines that may start to fly to MEX? Discussed here in the forum last week is that Aerolineas Argentinas plans to start MEX again with the second A310 (via Lima or direct with a stop in Acapulco).

Saludos  Smile
