A380: Size Comparison

Fri Oct 15, 2004 1:02 am

Is there somewhere a graphic representation of the size of the new Airbus, the "monster" (don't take me wrong, I love it)?
What I am looking for is a picture / drawing of the A380 and another aircraft (B747 would be awesome) to see the difference in size.
Thanks

There was one using overlays of one over the other. I can't remember the site right now but I'll find it.

I don't directly answer to your question, but let me give you a few figures I find interesting:
A380 / An225 (another monster...)
MTOW: 560T / 600T
LENGTH: 73m / 84m
WINGSPAN: 79.8m / 88.4m
POWERPLANTS: 4*310kN / 6*230kN
WHEELS: 22 (2+2*6+2*4) / 32 (4+7*4)

Thanks guys. That gives a better idea of the size.
Next year, it is going to be fun to shoot pictures of the A380 with, say, the A318 or a MD80.
