Also a Cessna 182 has gone missing between APA and ASP...definitely a bad week for aviation in general...

Uhh, why would it go between Denver Centennial and Alice Springs, Australia, or do you mean ASE for Aspen?

Not sure if this is the same incident USAFHummer is referring to, but I just heard on CNN a plane with 3 teenagers onboard is either missing or down in the U.S.
Last year 1,944 New Yorkers saw something and said something.

I live fairly close to JOT and train at LOT, and the general outlook of things around the area has not dimmed. I fly out of JOT quite a bit and it doesn't seem like the ideal place I'd like to fly an experimental out of. I'd at least prefer some nearby cornfields as opposed to two major highways, a college campus (JJC), and several residential districts nearby. There's one small cornfield to the southeast, but beyond that you have quarries, an antenna, and stacks to worry about. Oh well, welcome to the dark side of GAEmbarrassment
I don't know, so this is my signature.
