Are all of them used at the same time or is the one that is often not used?
Are they very busey?
How much are they to build?

Thanks

Euro

P.S

Any info on the Super transporter would be great!

European,
There are no plans at present to make any more Belugas. All of the belugas are used every day to ferry parts to the various Airbus assembly halls. Number 5 is white and is used for charter freight operations once in a while. All are based on the A300-600 airframe. Can't tell you why they are painted differently, or how much they are. Here in Hamburg we get 2-3 flights per day.
Hope that helps a bit.

FedEx wouldnt want A300-600STs, simply because the Max Payload Weight is LOWER than the standard A300-600F, therefore weight would max out long before bulk would be filled for any normal cargo/package ops.

Demand for outsize cargo is limited, and alot of people are saying the market is oversaturated as it is (between Airbus charters and AN-124s). Would airbus build some if someone wanted them? probably, but the cost is prohibitive.
Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Airbus offered the the Beluga to Fed-Ex, but they decided that they would stick to what suited them

Northstar

Fedex was just an example of a freighter airline, not saying they would order them, it was just an example!
