Mainly 777 aircraft.

If you go to http://www.opodo.co.uk, you can find LHR-JFK-LHR deals on AA for about £179 (based on 2nd Feb dep. and 8th return) including all taxes.

All 17 AA flights to Heathrow are operated under the B777 (subject to last minute cock ups etc)

Like they said above, ALL flights from the US to LHR are Triple Sevens. They took the T7 off of some European Routes and put them all to LHR. I believe London- Gatwick/Heathrow are all AA 777's. In fact, I'd put money that besides FRA, there are no other 777 European routes for AA. The rest of the 777's are geard to South America and NRT.

Hey

that flught from JFK-LHR is ALMOST opperated with the 777.

Sometimes with the 767-300, and was the A300, but now the 777.

You will probaly be on a 777

AA doesn't fly MAN-JFK. MAN-ORD and MAN-MIA are 763s; MAN-BOS is a 752.

All London routes are operated by the Boeing 777 only. THis includes all the LGW routes along with the LHR routes. I don't expect this to change anytime soon. Interesting, I did not know AA operated a MAN-MIA nonstop service.

depends on the airline, but 6 1/2 from JFK to LHR and 7 1/2 from LHR to JFK (tail winds)

Being a frequent pax on just this AA route, I can tell you that around 6 hours is actual flying time from takeoff to hold above LHR, but the flight is seldom less than ½-1 hour longer than that.

The scheduled time is around 7 hours eastbound and and around 7½ westbound. This is because if you arrive early at JFK, you will probably land early. If you arrive early at LHR during the morning rush, you will probably circle for 10-30 minutes. This is not always bad. Holding over London on Monday morning, I had a gorgeous view of a VS 744 3/4 laps ahead and below us as it caught the morning sun while cruising just above the clouds. Marvelous! Big grin

Ah, and I have never seen anything but 777s scheduled. As long as I get my 42 a or j, I'm happy!

It is. One of the two DFW-LGWs is being downgraded to a 763ER.
