MX F100's-to AeroCaribe

Thu Oct 21, 2004 3:04 am

Hot off the press, its official, AeroCaribe's DC9's will be replaced with MX F100's, once the A318 begin to arrive. According to El Economista QA pilots signed their new labor contract which includes the substitution of their DC9's. Finally CINTRA makes an excellent economical move.

Maybe QA's DC9 should go to AeroCalifornia?...........just kidding

First they dumped the FH-227s and F-27s now they dump the DC9s....Well at least Aerocaribe isnt buying Airbii.....
The Fokkers should work out good for them ....At leats someone is finding a use for them....The DC9s will prolly be sent over to Africa for their final resting place...

Well, I have a magazine of MX where said :
ahora mas comodidad, con los nuevos Fokkers que vienen para servirte, solo en AeroCaribe, la linea regional de Mexico.
That is more that facts to porve their change from DC-9's to Fokkers.

I spoke with a source at Mexicana. Looks like this big AeroCaribe F100 nightmare for good, its finally over! Since past July QA F100 were approved. Plans were thrown away at the end of September and first week of October. If Im not mistaken, yesterday pilots revised their contract and they signed and agree to fly the F100.

QA will become a new F100 operator!

...Now more comfort, with the new Fokkers that are comming to serve you, just on AeroCaribe, Mexico's regional airline.

By the way, when will the 1st A318 Arrive into MEX?
