Whats Going On With SAS 330

Fri Oct 22, 2004 12:34 am

SAS leased a B-767-300 by United with a whole crew for the CPH-IAD route, starting in November until the end of March 05, instead of their own A 330.
Anybody knows why? Do they have trouble or even not enough equipment for the long-haul route?

I think they are short on equipment after opening the Shanghai route.

Exactly, they are short of capacity. I think one A340 is currently out of service due to maintenance...can anyone confirm this?

What I have heard the A330 and A340 fleet is getting internet installed, UA will fly the IAD route until the installation is completed.
