aircraft owned by the former iraqi airways are being sold off. does anyone know who is buying them and for what future role? i have a hunch that it's EG&G. but then again, it's only a hunch.

Erm, that 737 is actually one of the new ones being leased in for service. c/n 22354 is an ex-Canada 3000 bird, C-FNAJ. It was just recently overhauled at TUS. It was photographed 4 days ago on delivery TO Iraq (Teebah Airlines) not FROM.

Iraqi Airways re-started on 18th September 2004, operating scheduled flights to Amman and Damascus with Boeing 737 operated for IA by Teebah Airlines, whose manager general is an Iraqi national with offices and domicile in Amman
