I Need Help Finding A Flight. (PHX-MSN)

Sun Oct 24, 2004 8:55 am

I am in a little bit of a jam. I am looking for a flight for my sister and I am getting to the point where I have exhausted all sources. I am looking for a flight between PHX & MSN in the time slot of between 12/18 & 1/2 (not necessarily from 12/18-1/2, but something within that time range). If anybody can help me find a flight fare under $300 I would be eternally grateful! Are there any people out there with tips on how I can obtain a flight for under this price? Thank you so much for any replies!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

P.S. She can travel (leave/arrive) on holidays!

Also, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I didn't know which forum something like this would go in.

Maybe you can try standby? PHX-MSP on HP, MSP-MSN on NW airlink. Since HP & NW are partners, they might be able to give you a good deal.

Orbitz has an option of looking up by a time-frame. I typed in your dates and got a low of $339 on the following dates of 12/29-31 thru 1/02 on Continental through CLE. Kind of out of the way, but it is the cheapest. Remember Tim, these are going to be days that the airlines can run up the prices, because people will travel for Christmas/New Years. Your not going to really find anything too spectacular near Christmas.

Try checking out ATA. You could fly to PHX to MDW then on to MSN. I did a preliminary search and found one for $367 but I'm sure if you put in more specific dates, you may get a better price.

Good Luck!

I second the idea to check out ATA. Visit ATA.com, type in your cities and dates, and it will show you the base fare for each flight combination. Play with the date one day at a time and find the least expensive itinerary segments and there you go!

Why don't you see what the fares are PHX-ORD then take the shuttle bus from O'Hare to Madison?

Tim,

$284 on United. Leave 12/21 and return 01/01. There are several days when the fare is around the same, I guess the question is, how long does she want to stay?

cheers
