We should be getting 801 around the first of next month, but GYR
isn't going to start work on it until the 6th. We hope to have it up and on our ops specs by December.
The a/c you guys had was 275. It was doing a 2 engine ferry ANC
several weeks ago and just as it began to roll for takeoff it flipped nose up and hit the tail on the runway. The a/c only travelled 20 feet, but the damage was pretty extensive, especially since this is the 2nd tail strike for this a/c. You guys did a great job of getting it back to us. Boeing wanted an additional week and of course was much more expensive. The original ETR was late on the 31st and here it is already enroute TPE
with a full load as we speak.
