Fed Ex Buys 11 More Aircraft

Fedex has purchased 10 aircraft from various leasing companies including Airbus, GATX and GECAS.

These are aircraft are :

3 MD11s previously operated by Varig
1 A310-300 previously operated by Regionair
4 A310-300s previously operated by Khalifa
2 A310-300s previously operated by Aeroflot
1 A310-300 previously operated by Transaero

**This is in addition to the 8 MD 11s it bought from Delta 3-4 weeks ago.

Sign of good times at the largest cargo carrier in the world.
I wonder if some of the additional A310s will be based in China or Asia?

Great news! The ex Regionair and one of the Khalifa A310s are already at Dresden for freighter conversion.
