Do commercial jets use runway 8/26 and if so, how often?

Commercial jets use 08 all the time, but only for landings. There is terrain east of the airport, and there's a NOTAM out prohibiting takeoffs of multi-engined aircraft that weigh more than 12,500 lbs. Normal flow at BUR (winds permitting) is arrivals on 08, and departures off 15 (which is longer, and gives better weights). In IMC weather, you'll see stuff landing on 08 because it has the ILS approach into the airport.

Thanks for the quick reply. I saw only one ILS and was wondering.
