"The Nordic region’s largest airline, on Tuesday launched additional restructuring measures to fight losses amid fierce price competition and record-high jet fuel prices"

"it would post a full-year loss despite a large cost-reduction program, now aims to cut capacity by 4 per cent in December, and thereby save an additional SKr400m-500m."

"good traffic growth recorded in the second quarter did not continue in August and September"

"The new measures will include a review of the carrier’s network, capacity and the number of destinations it flies to."

"That SAS is being forced to launch new cost-reduction measures just as it is about to meet one set of comprehensive targets is a bad sign, they said. "

You are 100 times more likely to catch a cold on a flight than an average person!

In Norway the news are that SAS will ground 10 aircrafts in order to reduce losses.
The flights Oslo - Geneva, and Oslo - London/Gatwick will be stopped.

There will also be a reduction in number of flights on other routes.
