I also heard that there was an Avro Vulcan being sold, but I couldn't find it.

It is really amazing to see how eBay comes up with such interesting items!

At one point there was a true auction on eBay for a F/A18A and a couple of Mig-29s. The Hornet was an ex Blue Angels bird. Wish I had a few million and extra room in the driveway!!!

I know that there are not many Vulcan's available, but £7.5M is a lot of money.

Particularly when you realise that it is not a flyer. The aircraft flew into Blackpool, (which is on the Irish Sea) in 1983. My understanding is that it has been in the open ever since.

This aircraft is going to need major work done on it.
