Where Is G-VFLY?

Fri Nov 05, 2004 10:03 pm

Recently on http://www.v-flyer.com and http://www.lhr-lgw.co.uk, VS A343 G-VFLY does not appear to be flying. Where is she?

Hey,

Tell them the last time I flew on here the bulk head at the rear of the Upper cabin was making a squeak all the way to KJFK...

hehe

What does being on firewatch require you to do?
Flew to IAD in J on G-VFLY(second last row), no squeaking bulkhead then!

That's more than on a scheduled passenger flight?

Couldn't resist it!

Have a Good Trip!

Seems like your "network" has served you well to get the flight back on VFLY -well done Intheknow!

do you fly out as a pax on VS to HKG (and if so do you get PE or Upper Class?)

or do they make you work this leg?

Is G-VFLY going to go to Virgin Nigeria or will it stay. It came in 1994, so that must the third or fourth one delivered, making it pretty old (for an A340). How much rest time are you allocated on the flight, ITK, and also, do you still have to serve the pilots?

Hi Richard28,

Pax out VS200, should be J coz duty travel but you never know do you?!

Hi VS045,

There should be two cabin crew on it. We must have at least 3 hours horizontal rest on such a long sector. Love that law! Must check Flight Crew well-being too every 20 mins to make sure they are alive! I have done some ferry flights before (one with G-VRUM from Xiamen to LGW) and everyone including the pilots look after each other really.

Cheers

ITK
