I have a question regarding the origin of the SAS planes (sorry, if this topic has already been discussed; please redirect me, if it has).
As all of us know, SAS fleet consists of planes registered in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, but what is the actual relationship between particular aircraft and the country it is registered in? I mean, what are the rules, that SAS follows registering the particular airplane here, not there?
Perhaps this question deals with the actual corporate structure of Scandinavian Airlines. Yes, surely this airline is somehow unique in a worldwide scale.
If anyone could share some information on this topic with me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
