Mon Nov 08, 2004 12:12 pm

What is Martinair doing with a Miami Air 738? Some sort of mini-hub in Central America?

I wonder what crew? Dutch or american? If dutch they must be fighting for it! MIA as a base instead of foggy, windy AMS!

It's a Miami Air B737 operating under a wet-lease contract to Martinair - with Miami Air crews.

Thanks, Crosswind. Pity for those dutch pilots and stewardesses though! And I wonder what the passengers think? Getting off comfy MP B767 to continue their flight on this aircraft?

Actually, they still operate the org. schedule to SJO with widebodies. With the service expansion, they contracted Miami Air to operate the additional flights with the 737-800.
