Well, knowing how the media operates in these matters, I wouldn't be surprised if they came no closer than several miles apart!

600ft vertical, 3 miles horizontal was the last I heard.

Hardly pant-wetting, but an infringement of separation standards nonetheless.

Will be interesting to see what the papers make of it tomorrow.
I used to love the smell of Jet-A in the morning...

Again the media trying to over hype a story. Like someone said a while ago, when the Queen goes to the doctor for a check up or breaks her nail, "Queen Enters ER Now In Stable Condition" Will run across headlines. There was probably a slight mis-communitation error causing the infringement but not enough to endanger the a/c in which the royal family member was aboard.
