TED By United

Fri Nov 12, 2004 9:25 am

What are some of the obvious differences between the cabin of a Ted plane, vs. a United one? Also, I know there arent any photos ot Ted cabins on this website, but does anyone know anywhere on the web were i can view photos of a Ted cabin. Also to add to the differences; what else id different between United and Ted in all areas (inside and out!)

THANKS!  Smile  Smile

I have a question about TED as well as I will be flying them this April. My IAD-MCO flight is 2 hours and 4 minutes, will they have the buy on board option availible? If not what do they give you? I don't mind just a drink and pretzels, but I would like to try buy on board.

Also what is featured on Tedevision?
Mmmm forbidden donut.

I found the best thing about Ted is the "Famous Amos" cookies they have for sale for $2. Wish all airlines would do that! The sandwich options were not tempting and were way overpriced.

Ted seats are the same in terms of width, comfort, etc. All seats feature the new blue upholstery similar to the re-done mainline interiors. Set up in a regular 3-3 pattern, 156 seats total, 66 I believe in Economy Plus config.

GD727, as of now BOB will not be available on your IAD-MCO flight as it is just under the 2.5 hour minimum. IAD-FLL features BOB but IAD-MCO does not.

$2 for cookies?

Cactus739, have you been to Mrs. Fields or even 7-11 lately? Those nasty Otis Spunkmeyer cookies go for almost $3! The cookies on Ted are premium, fantastic and reasonaby priced!!

GD727,
I flew PHX-SFO-PHX two weeks ago and seeing as the flight was under 2.5 hours there was no BOB however they came around with one beverage service and a bag of trail mix that had three pretzels, two pieces of Chex and one cashew so if you are hungry before you get on the plane make sure you pick something up at the airport.

As for the service, it was nothing special. Never had such old F/A's in my entire life, but they were kind so I guess that's all that matters. Once they did their beverage and snack round they weren't to be seen again until it was time to collect the trash 30 min prior to arrival.

Yes, but also the first couple of rows are designated as Economy Plus.

Yes that is true the first 13 or so rows are Y+. Actually the second exit row is the last Y+ row.
