Thanks MD11LuxuryLinr.
Do you know the quantity of -300's that fly the CF6-80A and the CF6-80C2?

300s
CF680A2: 24
PW4060: 4

300ER
CF680C2B4: 6
CF680C2B6F: 23
CF680C2B7F: 1 (324/ER)
PW4060: 31

There aren't any -300s powered by CF680A only. That engine is only on the -200.

Do the different powerplants affect the 767 performance significantly? It has got to be costly to fly a such a diversified 767 fleet in terms of engines.

Weirdly, GE claims that they sold B8Fs to both DL and CO for their 764ERs.

Even weirder, the PW engine has not yet flown on a 764ER yet.

It never will, either.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

The PW4062 isn't even certified for the airframe. I'm sure it could be, but it would take time.

Gigneil,

I'm going to have to side with you and the GE website about the -400s having the B8Fs.. Boeing doesn't even list the B7Fs as an option for the 764. I'm thinking my info must be wrong. Thanks

While I can't talk for CO, DL 767-400s DO have CF6-80C2B8F powerplants, at least according to my training manual and the AMM. I'll look at the data plate on the engine the next time I get a chance to work on one.

That's what I thought, too. Bill Harm's census (and the subsequent maintainers at jetphotos.net) have it wrong.

I was able to look at a data plate on one of our -400s today and it was a CF6-80C2B8FG01.
