Cabin Size 737 V. 757

Mon Nov 15, 2004 2:55 am

I've flow in both many times. The 757 cabin seems larger and more roomy but it has the same width-Is it taller-the same size-do I feel its g bigger because it is a 757?

I've asked this and check the Boeing specs-can't fine the height of the cabin-and is the cargo compartment larger on a 757

If you look at Boeing's "Airport Planning Reference Guides," they show the exact diameter's of the cabins. The 757 might feel larger as it has a longer tube and differenet cabin fittings as the 737, which make it appear airy and spacious. Go to the aircraft you want to compare, then click the Aircraft Description. You will find what you need about halfway down this document-

The 707, 727, 737, and 757 all have the same crosssection....
