I said this some times and other a.net members also (like the day before yesterday with the "US aiways CRASH"!! .................... , (well not today but the on in '91)
So please be more specific, crash sounds big, do it like the Yahoo article, what it actually is: a SMALL plane crash.

Thanks!!!

FJWH,

A crash is a crash.

I don't think it was a small thing for those that where on board it.

"A crash is a crash.

NO, but i am sure that u agree that a jetcrash including some 300 pax is a whole lot different than i.e. a chessna involving only 2.
So, I agree with FJWH, please take care in choosing your thread title, as a big crash has a lot more consequenses (also to the general aviation industry).

I don't get the title of the thread "Plane Crash In Northern Louisiana!".
Nowhere in the article is Louisiana mentioned. This happened in Texas!  Confused  Confused  Confused

Oh dear! I foresee another unemotional thread containing numerous replies to the effect of 'oh, it's only a small plane' and 'oh, only two people died' and so forth. A little uncaring, if you ask me. It's sad to hear that people have died.  Sad

Yes it's very sad and my condolences and this and that, but this is the civil aviation forum of Airliners.net and a Cessna 172 is not an airliner ! Every day people die in general aviation, balloons, military jets etc. Sad but just as sad as people dying from AIDS, motor accidents, cancer etc. It's just less relevant for this forum.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

if it's irrelevant on airliners.net then so should be military a/c pictures? after all those aren't airliner pics are they? Have a little heart for god's sake....

ok, for those who misunderstood my reply, i do not mean that the loss of life of 2 persons is not bad. of course this is terrible for their families.
however the scale is different than when an airliner is involved.
just my opinion.
