LAX Spotting

Thu Nov 18, 2004 1:59 am

Hi All,

I will be spending a night in LAX and was wondering which hotel offers the best view of the airport/aprons/runways etc. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
SU

The Radison (former Hyatt), which is inside the LAX roadways offers a good view, so does the Sheraton Gateway LAX (which is also where WN crews stay).

Or use this 2004 aerial photograph to map out where you'd like to go:

I don't know which hotels offer the best views, but there are a lot of them around, so you'll be fine.

However, you MUST proceed to Lincoln Parkway and Sepulveda Blvd, and have lunch at the In & Out Burger...take it to go, and eat at the little parkway (actually a grassy island). Bring your camera, because here's what you will see:

The views are unreal. Even in post 9/11 America, these kinds of views are still possible.

Have a great trip!!
