Fri Nov 19, 2004 11:58 am

I was looking for some info on the recent Airfreight Express (AFX) and Air Bangladesh hook up and could only find this one article but its in dutch i believe.

Cargo Plane Maastricht Airport remains grounded

The controversial B747 cargo plane, which belongs to Air Bangladesh, remains grounded at Maastricht-Aachen Airport. Inspectors from the Ministry of Transportation are demanding that the British company Air Freight Express, which owns the aircraft, provide additional information on the condition of the plane's engines.

In particular, inspectors are looking for flight data from the past months, so as to quickly determine whether there have been any problems related to the plane's engines. As long as the information has not been handed over, the aircraft will not be allowed to leave the airport. "Better safe than sorry," said a spokesperson for the ministry. as of yesterday, the requested data had not yet been made available.
