AA 767-300 Routes

Mon Nov 22, 2004 1:52 pm

I just flew an AA 767-300 from Dallas-San Francisco, and it got me thinking - what are the other domestic routes that AA uses its 767-300 fleet on? I thought they were only used internationally.

They are mostly used for the JFK to Europe routes. The only route that I can think of to Europe fomr JFK that they don't use the 763 for is the JFK-LHR route. They are good for the routes to Europe because they are only 2 classes and aren't overkill on capasity.
This flight is probably a repositioning flight, it's between two hubs and most widebodies on short hauls domestically(except DL ATL-Florida) are for that purpose, repositioning.

AA uses the B767's on LAX-HNL runs but one flight i believe is a 757 (i think its the red-eye).

you can also see them on DFW-HNL and ORD-HNL.

SFO is not a hub for AA, but I am sure there is the traffic to fill a 763 to DFW.

AA does not fly 763s LAX-OGG, right now it is 2 757s a day. They might upgrade in the summer, but it is not so right now

My CFI flys the 763 from ORD-GLA, BRU, FCO. I believe that AA uses the 763 to all their European destinations, aside from maybe MAN, which is a 757.

All LON ops are 772ERs.

All Continental Euro ops are 763ERs.

Confirming with MAH..., I am flying AA MIA-SFO on an 763ER the 30th of next month, on Business-First; great aircraft!

I wish they had more 763ER domestic routes...
