News Story Regarding Redemption Of Travel Vouchers

Tue Nov 23, 2004 11:19 pm

The following news report below lists some very telling issues regarding airline travel vouchers. In short, don't just blindly accept a voucher (due to being bumped on an overbooked flight) unless you are fully aware of the terms and conditions of the vouchers; which do vary from airline to airline.

I've never had a problem with vouchers, I have flown AS 16 times this year all on vouchers, I bought 1 ticket in February and on my way back home I volunteered 4 times got 4 vouchers, then on my next trip volunteered again 3 times, got a free hotel that time as well in Seattle and first class, the next day I volunteered again. The restrictions are minimal to me if I dont have to pay.
