Todler In GA Aircraft

Thu Nov 25, 2004 4:27 am

if I bring my 3 year old into a saratoga or warrior should she be in a child safety seat, and will one fit? the one I have fit easily into the A320 this summer but barely into the CRJ seat with the arm rests down, I realize its a totaly different seat configuration but this might give you an idea of how big they are if you dont have little ones.

Go to my profile and click on my home page. There is one photo album titled Peeps first flight (I think thats the title)
This has pictures of my then 3 year old in the back of our 172 in a full size car seat. Hope this helps!  Smile

Ok. I just clicked on my own link and realized my home page is no longer there! Wonder where it went!?
Anyways, the seat fit fine on one side of the Cessna with plenty of room.

With a few certain exceptions, a child's auto safety seat should fit in most general aviation aircraft without too much trouble. Saratogas and Warriors have about the same amount of seat area as the Cessna Skyhawk.
