If US Airways goes down, that'll be major airline #2 that the IAM helped to kill. I've always wanted to fly US Airways, but the flights I wanted to take were well out of my price range. The funny thing is that a ticket on a US Airways flight that is a codeshare flight operated by United is higher than if you booked the same ticket for that flight under the UA
#. You would honestly think that they would be very similar in price. I even looked at booking a flight for five months from now and they claim that there are no seats available, which could be the truth if they start selling off stuff after Christmas.
