Anybpdy heard anything lately?
It was published last week by the com[any that they have reduced their fleet from 30 odd aircraft to just 7 and had reduced their routes from 40 odd cities to just 13. Also, it was reported by the company that no plane would take off unless it were more than half full.

Sounds like clutching at straws to keep flying. Espeically the plane half full business. It escapes me how you can retain a customer base if there's an overarching threat of having your flight canceled if its less than half full.

As far as the fleet goes, all I know is that they had several aircraft grounded by aviation authorities.

And yes, planes only leave with at least 50% of capacity filled.

Additionally, they have two bankruptcy lawsuits against them... if they don't pay what they own soon the courts will declare them bankrupt.

It's a matter of days I think... very sad to see one of the oldest Brazilian airline die like this...
