Where Are The DoJets Parked?

Mon Dec 06, 2004 11:52 pm

Now that ACA doesn't fly the DoJets for DL Cxn, where are the 30 or so birds parked now? I haven't seen any pics of them....

Could still be parked in CVG..I know DL is taking over the leases on them so they might be deciding what to do with them, wether keeping them parked or letting Skyway operate them as DLC.

I am guessing CVG, but that brings a question to mind. What are they doing with the A gates where they were parked? Are they parking more EV/OH planes over there? or are they using those for bigger planes?

Many are parked at CAE. I'm down there 3-4 days a week and they're have been a bunch parked on the old Doolittle ramp for quite a while. I believe they are in a transition phase as new Do's rotate in every now and then.

I'll be going down again tomorrow and try to get some pics on here.

About 50-75 Dojets are parked on the old military ramp at MYR. Myrtle Beach has become a great place to park these things.

In CVG they have been operating EV and a few OH flights at those gates in the A concourse. They may even have a few RP flights in and out of there. I'm not sure what flights are specifically flown in/out of the A concourse. I noticed this about a month ago while checking in passengers. They were flying OH to OH in CVG, but were going C to A, instead of the normal C to C connection.

Sorry for this, but what is a DoJet? I thought maybe a Dept of Justice Jet, but I don't know.

Bill a DoJet is a Dornier 328. I believe they are talking about the ones flown by Atlantic Connection.
