Sunday, Norwegian TV channel TV 2 showed footage of how easy it is to get passed the security at Oslo Airport. The reporters found it to be impossible to get a small briefcase containing two empty grenades and a gun, passed the airport security check. However, there is a door which is not guarded in anway, as it is used for personel and crew, leaving the terminal without going through security check. These doors can only be opened from the inside though.
TV 2 sent a man through the security check without anything illegal, who then proceded to open the door for the man with the briefcase.
Soon, the briefcase containing the false weapons were on the plane to Berlin.
This has shocked the security personell at Oslo airport, but they still say they are happy that someone brought this problem to their attention. They have already began finding a solution to the problem.

Things however were only going to get worse for those responsible for security at the airport.
Today a youth named “Widar” came forward with video evidence of how easy it was to get into the airport area. After easily climbing the fence, he and his friend find a service car, unlocked, with the keys in.
Inside Norways busiest airport, the friend drives around parked cars while Widar films. Nobody notices the hazardous driving.
The two guys say the whole thing was a stunt to prove the poor security at the airport. They could easilly approach any parked aircrafts. “We could have arranged a birthdayparty there, or planted a bomb if we wanted.” Says one of them.

The board at Oslo airport were shown the footage, and concluded that the images spoke for themselves. “A fence is a fence. It can be passed, and in this case it has failed. We will work on improvements.” says chief of security Tor Bjørstad.
The board now intends to tighten security, to make sure episodes like these cant happen again.
