has been given approval by both the CAA and Rochford Council to expand. A new terminal, Visitors center and train station will be built. It is hoped that building work will start in Spring next year, and will hopefully be finished in the summer of 2006.
FlyBe have made there SEN
an offical route, and this can now be booked online for as little as £29 return.
It would be great, if FlyBe launched new routes from SEN
, I think it has the ability of being a decent little regional airport - that can compete with London City, the only problem is the distance from London. Even though the airport is actually called London Southend!
