Southwest Florida Beckons Hartford Travelers With Low Introductory Fares
Thursday December 9, 12:23 pm ET
CINCINNATI, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Customers in Hartford, Conn., now can travel to Florida's southwest coast for less, thanks to low introductory sale fares from Delta (NYSE
- News) and Delta Connection.
Beginning March 2, Delta Connection carrier Comair will begin twice-daily non-stop regional jet service between Hartford and Fort Myers, the nearest airport to the uncrowded beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Islands. To celebrate the new service, customers may purchase travel between Hartford and Fort Myers at fares starting as low as $67 each way based on roundtrip purchase (roundtrip purchase required) from now until Dec. 23.
All travel must be completed by April 30, 2005. Fares require a 14-day advance purchase, and no minimum stay is required. Additional taxes/fees/restrictions apply. See below for further details.
This new service underscores the airline's commitment to Bradley International Airport and central New England. In addition to mainline service to its Atlanta and Cincinnati hubs, Delta recently added Delta Connection service from Bradley to Columbus, Ohio, and also offers service from Bradley via its Song subsidiary to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach, Fla.
Delta and Delta Connection operate from Bradley's refurbished Terminal A and offer customers a better, faster, and friendlier airport experience with self-service technology, including kiosks and Delta Direct, making it easier for customers to check in for flights, select or change seat assignments, check baggage, change flights, print receipts and itineraries or speak directly with a Delta reservations agent. At the gate, Gate Information Display Screens keep customers informed while waiting to board.
