Guys I just spotted a 747SP (N4522V) parked at CCS. Does anybody know what it is doing here in CCS?

Hey Luisde8cd,
N4522V apparently came to CCS from SJU. The last time I saw N4522V in person was here @ BWI (which is where the photo you plugged above was taken). It left at noon on December 1 en route to SJU. It was actually spotted there-

Unfortunately that's all I have for you.

JetBlast,

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it despite it didn't answer my question 100%.  Smile

Looking at their site, you wouldn't know this, but a quick search on google shows this is a Christian evangelical organisation which operates under the guise of a charity.

Why is he in Venezuela? There's probably a few Amazonians left who haven't been converted to Christianity yet.

This is his other website, and this is particularly hilarious

He lives a simple, modest life in Houston, Texas.

Hands up anyone who think owning your own 747SP and jetting around the world, is a simple, modest life

So then again, he may be in Venezuela to fleece the people out their money to allow him to buy another modest 150-ton long-range VIP jet.

They have an entire page of their site dedicated to their "Aviation" wing... And if I read it correctly, looks like they'd be happy to lease it out to anybody with an open checkbook!

Guess they have learned that owning your own airliner is not an inexpensive proposition.
