Disparity Between FCY Alloc. On Airbus/Boeing A/c

Mon Dec 13, 2004 2:02 pm

Not looking for a "A is better than B" or vice-versa war here...

Why do Boeing aircraft seem to be used for more premium routes with carriers that operate both? The chief examples I can think of are AF and KL.

how do you define a premium route?

can you think of any other airlines that this applies to?

can you offer any facts do back up this sweeping generalisation.....?

How many long haul Airbus a/c do KL have anyway?

So really, you are saying, 'why does Air France use B more on some premium routes?'
