What Is The Status Of ZS-SAJ Of SAA

Mon Dec 13, 2004 2:39 pm

I was wondering if South African Airlines Reg ZS-SAJ is still flying or will be flying anymore. I really love the livery on that plane. It has to my favorite and since it is an older plane I love it more. Any information would be great.

According to this picture, and to another thread on here a while ago, Ndizani is parked in JNB...

I'm just glad that I flew on her once, back when SA had that once-weekly CPT-FRA flight instead of JNB-FRA...

Simply one of the most beautiful planes out there!

Is there any plans to paint the decals onto another aircraft?

Where about at JNB is it parked? Where can I get a good look? I'll be in JNB next week, and getting a pic, or even just a look, would be awesome!

Aviationwiz, Ndizani is parked in the technical area next to Hangar 8, I saw her on Friday, but if you get onto the road that leads past SAA head office and the entrance to Caesars casino, it is possible to see her.

As far as I know there are no plans to paint the colour scheme onto another aircraft, this was a special design for the carriage of the SA Olympic team to Atlanta. One of the 346s has the name NDIZANI painted on the underside of the fuselage but that's it.
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...
