Piper Warrior Headset Plugs

Thu Dec 16, 2004 10:02 am

I have the DC H10-13.4 headset. I wanted to know if the Piper has slots compatible for this headset. The headset came with the M642/4-1 and M642/5-1 plugs. Do I have to order the adaptor for the U-174/U plug or am I ok?
Thanks for the Help!!!!

ever warrior ive ever flown has just had the standard mic/headphone two plugs. Unless the 13.4 is a helicopter headset you should be fine.

What do you mean by 'compatible' slots? Every airplane I have ever flown has the standard headset jacks...

If you are looking for heli compatibility, then no.

Headsets are compatable across most if not all GA aircraft...the question becomes then, what kind of headset to use....like, you wouldn't want to use one of those nice Telex Airman headsets (airline pilots use them), in a noisey Stearman....stick to the David Clarks  Laugh out loud

Gonna buy myself a nice Bose ANR headset soon I think...they bairley clamp your head, and they're oh so quiet Big grin

Yeah, those Bose's are nice... but at $1000 I think I can live with my $144 Telex Echelon 100s, they do the trick just fine.

My 1982 Sigtronic passives work fine in an EMB-120, or 172.  Smile
