Yah, echoing 777gk, N77006 was named after Robert Six after N68060 was retired. I also have a pic of it from when I caught him in EWR
a few weeks ago. Here it is:
Unfortunately, I haven't as yet had the privilege of flying on 006 yet, and when the pic of 060 shown above was taken (sometime in the mid 80s, at HNL
), I didn't think to take a picture of the plaque onboard, which I understand was moved over to 006. I do hope that one of these days I will be able to get a picture of the plaques onboard *both* aircraft, and of course will post here on a.net.

I was sitting at the IAH
terminal here a year ago when Gordon (the man) just returned to IAH
, and was walking down the concourse in terminal C. I didn't think of it right at the time, but I really wish I would have stopped him and thanked him for doing the turnaround of the airline.
