Actually I saw this episode Thurday night. Apparently, it was a combination of Rolls Royce, the Air Transat Maintenance, and Air Transat management that screwed up. Rolls Royce shipped their engines with a part missing. So even though mx suggested the plane be taken out of service a little longer, management pushed mx do finish it on schedule. The result was mx putting in a tube or something to fix the problem in the engines. This caused the fuel to leak and drain the plane of fuel. Luckily, the plane was able to glide all the way to a military airport on the Azore Islands off of the European continent.
