British airways Concorde flight BA004 had to make an emergency landing at Shannon last night while enroute from JFK to Heathrow. According to News reports, one of the aircrafts engines developed trouble and had to be shut down inflight. The plane landed last night in Shannon with fire crews on alert, but the landing was without incidence. The passengers were accommodated in a local hotel and according to the news were flown out this morning to Heathrow on a B757 specially flown in. Concorde is still in Shannon with crews working on her engines.
