NW 747-200 PHX

Mon Dec 20, 2004 1:29 am

There is a Northwest 747-200 at PHX right now doing a charter for the St. Louis Rams. I don't have the number as I only saw it on the bus into T4 this morning but I was wondering if anyone on here could tell me when it leaves today, thanks in advance.

Not sure when it leaves, but it came in yesterday around 1557. I was on my way out of PHX when it went over. The BA 744 followed right after it. The tail # on the 742 is N631US, the flight operated as Northwest 9974. As far as the departure today, not sure on times yet. but the game is a 1405 kickoff so I'd imagine they wont be leaving anytime before 1800 or so.

Hey!
Yea I watched it come in on flightarrivals.com pretty exciting. However I think it was a charter for military as the Rams uses AA for the flights.

I was wondering what it was doing there. We need some diversity out here every once in a while.

A few years' ago, when I was in ATL, I saw a NW 742 connected to an airbridge. Guess it was some kind of charter.

The Rams don't always use AAL. This flight was for the Rams. It was not an AMC/CRAF flight.
In the Alaska bush I'd rather have a two hour bladder and three hours of gas than vice versa.
