NWA To Start MSP-CDG?

Wed Dec 22, 2004 8:56 am

Hi !

I heard from a NW flight attendand that she will be deployed on a new MSP-CDG route from Feb. 3rd 2005. I researched on nwa.com but did not found any new direct flights. What is the deal here ?

Thank you for any responses.

I would imagine if NW does start up service to CDG from MSP it would begin around the end of MAy and not during the low season that is February....

She's full of shit. How can she know that, We haven't even started bidding yet for Feb. How would she now what the pattern number is, if it was to exist? Thebid analysis dosen't come out until 1/10. MSP-CDG hasn't been announced yet, not even concrete it will exist.

She will fly from MSP to DTW, and then on to CDG.

Above responses are right...obviously we don't bid on February yet. We are NOT starting any flying from MSP to CDG in Feb. It might happen maybe next year, but nothing has even been formalized and definitely not until Spring at the earliest. She probably did mean she is going to do a trip in Feb from DTW by switching with someone who usually holds that trip during FEB.
Funny use of the term "deployed" though. I can picture that now!!

We don't have any patterns like that. Scheduling will not build same-day deadheads on International flights for legality reasons. Unless she's doing a one-way trade, MSP FA's cannot bid for DTW patterns. Come to think of it, they can't do that either yet.

Jetjack74: "She's full of shit."

Jetsack are you sure you have the right attitude to be a FA.

The FA´s I know automatically don´t use language like this publicly, even if they are very angry / emotional.

Oh, that's creative.

Well they propbably work for an airline where you get fired for sneezing in the wrong direction. You show me a flight attendant that hasn't said the word SH%T, and i'll show you someone who's full of SH#T.

Calling a colleague publicly "full of shit" without knowing her or knowing if she was quoted rightly is just not what I expect from a professional FA.

I would fill in that "letter to the president" if I heard it during a flight.

But I hope it was a slip of the tongue & will not response any further.

Dude, if you knew half of what goes on during flights, then I you'd probably re-think the professionalism thing. If you're so worried about constant professionalism, go fly Japan Airlines or Singapore Airlines. The way I see it, If you're not as professional out of site of customers, as you are in front them, then you're a hypocrite(i'm speaking of 3rd person tense).

Keesje, you and I have sparred here on the forum before. Maybe you don't remember, but I do. I don't think you have the right critique me on professionalism. At least I don't take personal swipes at fellow members here.

But I hope it was a slip of the tongue & will not response any further.
Good, Please don't. Have a good night. Acting devilish
