Was at LTN
this morning about 5am dropping my brother and wife off, as they were going to TFS
for a week.
After dropping them off, I drove around the parameter fence to see what was parked up over night and was the usual easyJet 737's, Britannia 757 and 767's and Monarch A321. Then over in the distance I saw an A320 parked up outside the Monarch Hangar with the USA 3000 livery.
I couldn't get the reg and was not able stop by the parameter fence to get any further info to prevent any security alerts.
I have checked some pics out on A.net and was definately in the full colours - not the TCX hybrid colours.
Is it likely they aircraft was one of Monarch's being leased out during the winter months? - (But if this was the case would usually be in hybrid colours.)
Was the aircraft in for maintenance? (Even though Monarch is highly respected for having some of the best maintenance in the industry, is a hell of a long way to send an aircraft!)
I cant find any website for USA 3000, what are they like and what kind of routes do they fly? Are they a Low Cost Carrier, Charter or Usual Scheduled Carrier?
