According to latest Airbus industry forecast ,the middleeastern airlines will have a fast growing rate in aircrafts demand in the next 20 years specially in the Gulf region .
If we look now at the development in the airline industry in this region we will see a very good example for a successful growing airlines , airlines like Emirates has achieved a very success in the past years with some airlines trying to catch up with it like Qatar Airways .Another airlines is getting in that road of competition ,like Etihad Airways and the LCC like Air Arabia & Al-Jazira Airways and a news that a new LCC will be starting in Lebanon soon will heat up the race for the best carrier and bring this competition to it's peak while some new private jets company trying to make a new market here .
The success of this industry in this region is not strange if we take into consideration some points .Cities like Dubai is growing fast starting with being a transit point for both cargo and passengers and now it reached a point beyond by establishing both a regional and continental markets ,And still there is other cities and places that has similar plans like Doha (Qatar) and Bahrain .Somewhere else there is Kuwait which is trying to be commercial gate to the new Iraq ,with new international seaport and new regulations ,Kuwait has got good plans in that side .Saudi Arabia still has good demand for travel both local and international ,with the demand for the religious tourism growing every year .Other places which provide sites and resorts tourism and other kinds of that tourism like Egypt,Lebanon ......ect ,will have a growing demand for travel from inside and outside the region .
In the middle of all that there is still some struggling airlines or airline with unknown statues like Kuwait Airways ,Oman airlines ,Egypt Air .... And some other , whose really has no known plans for the future competition .
So after all that who can stay in that race unharmed ,and who will grow to reach significant achievement point ,and how will this market develop ?Of coarse taking in consideration that the regional airliner are not the sole operator here .
I've done this subject according to what I have of knowledge ,it could be right and could be wrong ,and I know it's been a very long introduction and I hope everyone will post their opinion .
Best regards ,,,,
