Anyone Find A Continental MD-80 Rego?

Tue Jan 04, 2005 12:32 am

I was on a Continental flight last night, and I am trying to find out the registration.
It was 1425, the late flight IAH-DFW, and it was on an MD-80... hence I want the rego.
I think it was 821. But it could have been 820 or 822.

Thanks!

If you're willing to wait 2-3 months, the information will eventually be posted to the www.bts.gov website.

Thankyou, IAHscr.

I am glad to know for certain which one it was.

Incidentally, that was the most bizarre (and uncomfortable) flight I have been on in a looong time. The landign gear came down halfway through the flight, as did the flaps. They were put into takeoff config. Not ALL THE WAY out, but a goo 25-30 degrees (I forget what the settings are on the -80 wing).

The first officer was a real rude guy, too. As I was leaving the plane, I slowed to say thanks (as I always do when getting off a plane in the anticipate manner, rather than escape slides) and he looked at me and said, "The door is right there."

More on that story later- I will write a trip report.

Sorry for the OT, but how do you look up which N-numbers served which routes on this site?
