In both the UK and Europe BMI seems to have a very long list of carriers they operate feeder services for to LHR.
This list of carriers does not just include Star Alliance Partners.
Sure there are plenty more but cant find a definitive list of these.
How important are these feeder services for BMI and on an average flight would anyone know the percentage of passengers that would be connecting onto a flight with one of their codeshare partners?
If a BMI flight was late and made the person miss the connect flight would it be BMI or the principle carriers responsibility to look after the passenger and accomadate them on another flight?
With the share number of codeshare flights BMI operates are the flight numbers for BMI flights quoted as BD or do the other carrier designate their own flight numbers for these flights. For example would a flight from LHR-MME also be quoted as a GF flight for Gulf Air Passengers?
On BMI's website why can't you book flights with the codeshare airlines from UK regional airports?
