ID Question

Sun Jan 09, 2005 7:51 am

If I had known about 5 years ago I would have posted this question. Anyway, one day in March of 1997 I was enjoying the sun on a Cancun beach when I saw an L-1011 come in to CUN. I caught a glimpse of the tail, and it seemed to be dark-blue with a (red oval?) and white letters BFG? BTG?. Can anyone tell me what airline this was?

Aer Turas was operating L-1011s in 1997 for TBG Airways, featuring a dark blue fin and the letters 'TBG' on the aircraft.

Does this help?
