Air France A-330-200 At SFO Today

Tue Jan 11, 2005 7:34 am

Thought it was going to be the usual A-340 flight #84 from Paris until I noticed only a couple of engines under the wings. Watched the beauty land and taxi  Smile

This makes AF the second airline at SFO to use the 330 other than NW.

Does anyone know if this will type of aircraft will be regularly used here?

Must be a one-off aircraft substitution. AF83/84 is show to be a A340 thru the end of the winter schedule, with an upgrade to a B747-400 effective March 27th.

Damn, I saw is tail from my office but didn't notice anything. I was gone when it pushed. Would have been nice to see. Loads must be light. They better keep the A340, I need to non-rev on them soon.

There were crew issues (something to do with the f/a....cannot get into detalis) so iso of going no op, they did an equip swap.
